    Hi
couple of ways to skin that cat depending on what it is exactly you want to do:

    a) you can just use a multisite installation

b)set one of the custom order from settings fieds to select, add your three locations as comma separated values and make it required so a customer has to choose a location

    c) dunno, maybe you had something else in mind….just shout

    Hi

I am gathering when using b) then a ordering email will then have to go to all 3 Locations.

Also I heard mentioned, that you could stipulate postcodes where orders can be delivered and it can check to make sure your postcode is there – where is this?

    Thanks Janet

Hi just a follow up Question
I have set up a wordpress network that has a “mother site” and then all the restuarants have there own site linked through the mother site.
Each restuarant has its own menu and order setup and that all works well
only problem I have is if the client orders from one restuarant and does not click send and then orders from another restuarant the second restuarant gets the full order.
    Hope this makes sense ??
is there a way of to stop the orders from linking up not sure if this is a wordpress network issue or if you can help

i guess you mean that if i go from restaurant-a to sister restaurant-b, whatever you have in your shopping cart gets “transferred” so to speak (as it gets emptied once you order)

how is your domain setup ?
    https://www.mother.com

    or
    https://www.restaurant-a.com
    https://www.restaurant-b.com
    https://www.restaurant-c.com

    ?

    correct that is what happens

I need to make sure the client can only order from one restaurant at a time

domain is set up like :
    https://www.mother.com

    Hi,

it’s actually not a wordpress network setup issue as such.
it’s got to do with the way sessions work.

having said that, I would have thought I can quite easily change a couple of things in the plugin which will result in an additional option in the settings pages somewhere that will let you control if items that are added to a cart are domain/network wide or on a per network setup (provided there is a network setup of course)

I am not going to bore you with the details but I would have thought I’d be able to enable such a thing in the next few days (as there are a couple of other tidy up issues I want to address at the same time)

so please bear with me a few more days and I think you’ll be able to do what you want to do (assuming I am not coming across any as yet unknown and/or unforeseen issues)

obviously “… or on a per network setup (provides….” should have read
“…on a per site of the network setup (provided….”

    just correcting…

Thanks a lot for your help
Also wanted to congratulate you on the plugin it is a amazing bit of work very useful and easy to set up, I have just added the ingredinets plugin and again was impressed with the amount of detail involved.
    Thanks again

    excellent.
glad you find it useful and easily setuppable (is there such a word… ?)

btw. when i’m done with the next version and you use the multisite option i talked above, you will also need to have an updated version of the “add ingredients extension” as that will have to change too to make it work in a multisite environment

can you send me your email to [email protected] so I can send it to you when I’m done ?

    thanks

    just to close this thread…
version 1.4 solves this with an option in wppizza->settings
