• I am using this plugin and it is working. I am also using Monster Insights for Google Analytics. The Monster plugin in WP uses the GA ID but this GTM plugin uses ONLY the GTM ID (not GA ID) in the WP environment. However in the GTM environment (not the plugin) when I create triggers and tags, I have to use the GA ID in the triggers.
Is this a problem and will lead to double-counting because I am using the same GA ID in both MonsterIngihts (in WP) and this plugin (but not in WP but in the triggers/tags that I create in the GTM environment). If so, how do I resolve it?

    Hi,

Never use a dedicated GA plugin AND a GTM plugin if you are firing GA tags from within your GTM container. This will lead to duplicated pageview tracking, wrong bounce rates, etc.

Either use a dedicated GA plugin AND use GTM to place any other tags but GA or use only GTM and fire everything from within your GTM container.

Okay, I have deleted MonsterInsights and am now using only this plugin. I have added the GTM code in the first tab of the plugin but I am not clear what to fill in the Event, Scroll Tracking, etc. tabs. Any tutorials for these.

Also, I do not think the scroll trigger fires when the site is visited on mobile. Why is this so?

    Thanks

With the Events, Scroll tracking and other tabs, you can activate extra features but only if needed. There is no general rules of thumb for those features.

Think of your business goals and KPIs, imagine your full features dashboard for daily, weekly and monthly reporting that could drive actionable insights. If for example you need scroll tracking to answer some of your questions, you can activate that in GTM4WP.

About your scroll trigger issue: without seeing the site I can not tell you any reason. If you could post the URL of your site, I could have a look.
