Can this plugin be used for specific purpose?

    I am wanting to create a system where:

    – people with skills, talents, abilities, goods and services can list them in their area.
    – people can post wants and needs in their area
    – people who can meet those wants and needs get an email based on what they listed in their area any time a wants/needs posts is created.

    Can GeoDirectory do this? I installed the plugin, and so far it seems to do the listing thing well, but the email and the “in search of” concepts aren’t present. Has anyone made integration plugins that do either of the remaining two tasks?

    Should I be looking at a different plugin perhaps?

    Hi @songdove,

    We have a jobs site “GeoDirectory Experts” where we added a basic email notifications system. We have “Devs” and “Jobs” when a job is posted in a category that matches a devs categories then they get an email, this is a very simple code snippet that i would be happy to share to get you started?

    Your issue would be the “in their area” you would need to know the users area or provide a way for them to give you that.

    In short, it would be possible but would require some custom development.
