@detoris it depends on what you want to do ??
By default TinyMCE Advanced enhances the Classic editor (i.e. the current WP editor) and the Classic Block inside Gutenberg. If you additionally want to disable Gutenberg (i.e. the new Block editor), you can use the Classic Editor plugin.
@jersey-peeps yeah, there have been (probably) many thousands forked versions of WP. Most were used for a specific setup/purpose, and nearly all (afaik) lack support or were stuck at the WP version they were forked from. I’m not sure how long ClassicPress would go, but I wouldn’t bet my horses on it in a year ??
(Also, not sure what Google has to do with it…)
