We have a wine website that is WordPress with WooCommerce as the shopping cart. It sells wine.

They are wanting to add a “wine club” to their site. There will be 3 levels of wine club membership and each level will get a certain discount during the checkout. For example, the “silver” member will get 10% off their entire order during checkout. The “bronze” member will get only 5% off their entire order during checkout.

The site is already using Stripe to take payments.

My question is whether this plugin can do this? You can set up memberships and then apply one global discount % for anyone who is in the membership level? The membership it’s self will be free, meaning they do not have to pay to sign up to get into any of the memberships (or at least this is their initial goal).

Sorry I meant to say the site is using Square not Stripe to accept payments.

    Hi there,

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

You may use the Paid Memberships Pro WooCommerce Integration to offer discounts on your WooCommerce store.

You may also assign user’s a membership level when they purchase a specific product so you may sell your memberships directly through WooCommerce as well if you would like.

    I hope this helps.

Will this work with Square payment provider?

This should work for Square Payments as long as there is an integration for WooCommerce (which I believe there is).
