Can toggle button be used in category description ?

I have a long post category (term) description that I display on category (term) achieve page. The description is being added through ad listing ->category admin control panel. It uses gutenberg block editor for adding term description. So, I need to use the toggle button for the description, so that it expands when someone clicks on it, otherwise it remains closed.

So the query is, will the shortcodes work in this description ? I am using Olevmedia Shortcodes plugin but it’s shortcodes are not working in my template. The Template uses this code to display description.

I have discussed your query with the dev team and they have suggested that you are currently using the Olevmedia Shortcodes plugin and are trying to implement a toggle button for the description. However, I regret to inform you that shortcodes will not work in this description.

Sorry to disappoint but that feature is unfortunately not available at this time in Essential Blocks.

With that being said, there are existing feature requests, so I’ve added your vote to our internal suggestions lists. If we are able to introduce this feature in a future update, we will certainly let you know.
