Can ultimate member and client portal work together?

    In Account dashboard, I have created a page for example page title is “documents”.
    Then on the page there is some heading and information of few lines.

    Below that i want to add a block – in which I will upload documents for each user. but i don’t want all users to see those docs. I just want each user to see just that document which is meant for him. how do i achieve this? is there any code that i put in CSS of block so that only specific user can see it…
    for example a code “user1” is put put in “Block -1” and “user2” code is put in “block-2″…when user1 login account and go to documents tab he is able to see only block-1 not the other blocks.

    Someone told me that I can use Client portal for that, but will it work fine with ULTIMATE MEMBER?

    Hello @durdanasaleem

    This is fairly a complex development. If you have some development experience, I suggest you register a custom post type for the block and display blocks on the user account with a shortcode so that you can include the logic of who can see the documents.

    If you really need this feature and do not have much development experience, I suggest you hire a developer as It can not be achieved with a small code snippet.

    is there no way to use ultimate member to upload docs for users which they can access in their personalized account.

    Sorry for the late answer. In the user profile form there is an upload field and privacy settings where you could set user roles that can view this field.

    Unfortunately, there are no other options.
