Just wondering if there is a way with this plugin to restrict visibility to a specific logged in user.

Hi @cdweeks, there currently isn’t, but that doesn’t mean there can’t be! ??

Right now you can just restrict by the role of a user (i.e. Admin, Editor, Subscriber, etc.). But I will add this to my road map.

Just a quick followup to make sure I understand 100% what you are looking for.

You would like to be able to select from list of all users on the site and choose, say, John Doe and Jane Doe. Then the block would only display to John or Jane. Is that right?

Along the same lines, there could be a toggle for “not”. So show to everyone except John or Jane.

Have I got that all correct?

    Exactly.

My use case: setting up a simple client portal with a page devoted to/for each client. (I can do it with Elementor, but would rather not! ?? ) Would have them redirected to their special page when they log in, containing info just for them and their project.

I’m sure there are a ton of other uses for this also.

Let me know if there’s a way to contribute to the development work. ??

    Hi, Great suggestion!

    Hi @cdweeks and @kapppa,

In going back through old support tickets, I realized I never followed up on this. Visibility restrictions based on specific users is now available in the plugin.

If I can be of any further assistance, let me know!

    Best,
    Nick
