Can user (subscribers) register with same credentials on child sites?

Hi
I’m thinking of setting up multi-sites that act as standalone sites, and customers should be able to register an account on any of the sites, as they were standalones. But they should be able to use the same credentials (username, email and password) on each site.

Is that possible with this plugin?
Or maby it works without it? I haven’t figured that out quite yet, but it seems that it is not possible out of the box, if I understand it all correct.
