Can we create a popup in AMP site?

Hi:

On a staging environment of my website (at https://mybackup.wpengine.com) you will notice I have a pop-up. This appears with any page or post load, but if clicked shut, or the form in it is submitted, it remains as an icon at the bottom of the screen.

This is on my site copy which is not AMP. I have used the plugin Holler Box to create this popup (they call it notication box).

I have converted my actual site to AMP (at [ redundant link removed ]). Since it is AMP (Standard option), is there a way to create a similar pop-up that shows with page load … but if the form is filled or it is clicked to close, it must still remain at the bottom right of all pages and posts as an icon?
