Can we network configure the AD plugin on Multisite

Hey glatze! Thanks for this awesome AD plugin. We love it and are using it at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We have two multisite networks. One is running shibboleth (which is having issues and has not been updated in a while). The second is running your AD plugin which works great. The only problem is that for us to use it on the second network we have to configure AD on every site on the network.

I am, however, hesistant to make the modifications and leave the regular update path. Is there any chance you would consider adding this to the plugin?

Alternatively, if we were to modify the plugin in a way that would allow it to work on regular sites, and then on a multisite as well when network activated would you consider letting us contribute to your code so we don’t have to leave your regular updates in the future?
