Can we schedule older backups to be deleted so it doesn't take up too much room

The only thing I modified is the number in “and retain this many backups”, I tried different values, now is again 1.

How very odd! I shouldn’t worry about it – it’s unlikely to happen again.

Is it because of network connection, because of google service .. or what else?

That’s from Google – usually a temporary problem. Though in this case it’ll cause the backup to abort because it was on the 22nd run-through for a job, and at that point if figures that anything that hasn’t yet worked, won’t.

Ah, all is well. It didn’t abort, because by the point on the 22nd run when Google sent an error, something useful had already happened. So it had scheduled a 23rd attempt, and that is doing something useful.

Now it’s ok! It has deleted older archives from wordpress updraft folder. But now how should I manage the google drive files? I mean updraft knows there are 15 available sets, what happen if I’ll delete some of them ?

Does UpdraftPlus still show 15 sets, even after the job has finished and you refresh the UpdraftPlus page? If so, then it seems that the job that finished was started when the setting was still 15. Once a new run finished now that it’s set to 1, it’ll clear all thsoe out.
