Can WordPress resize images?

  • I have added medium and small versions of an uploaded image to a WordPress post — but I find that instead of generating the correctly sized images, WordPress links to the original, high-resolution image and sets the height and width attributes in the img tag.

    How can I get WordPress to actually create thumbnails and mid-sized versions?
