    WPSSO adds meta tags to your webpage headers for social website crawlers. So when the URL to your webpage is shared (using buttons or any other means), the social website crawler can pickup accurate information about your webpage.

    WPSSO does not push content to social websites — that’s a different kind of plugin. That functionality is planned in a future extension plugin for WPSSO, but is not currently available.
