• I have been using this plugin for some time now on my website and it has worked wonderfully. The only issue I have run into is that bots have found and begun to spam the payment portal like crazy. Failed or blocked payments on Stripe are an almost daily event now. One fake payment actually processed successfully. I am worried that Stripe will ban my website anytime now.

I have activated the zip code verification but I am not sure if this will eliminate the issue. I see that you offer Google reCaptcha as a spam filter option for the payment form. I have many privacy concerns regarding Google products and would rather not have to use them. Would it be possible for you to offer a built-in honeypot or hCaptcha support of some kind?

If your site is being targeted by spammers then the most effective way to stop it is to use the following option:

I understand that you have some other concerns but we spent a lot of time trying many solutions for it. None of those work as well as the captcha option. So the google captcha option is the ultimate solution for this at the moment.

Your answer is underwhelming and, frankly, dishonest. Hcaptcha is literally just as easy to implement on the backend coding as Google Recaptcha and a honeypot is very easy to implement with some basic PHP as well. You need to be upfront with your users so they know that you are just being lazy and allowing the selling of their customers’ information to the big brother G (Google) by not offering an easy to implement privacy-friendly alternative.
