can you create a role that can’t change links?

  • Hi,
    I want to create a user-role who is unable to change existing links inside a blog post or a page. But he should be able to change images, or add some text inside existing blog posts.

    So for example I ask John to go in my existing blog post with 100 links and ask him to swap some images and add some disclaimer. But he should not have the ability to change links.

    Any suggestions how to achieve this?

    Hi,

    It’s not possible without custom plugin, which is not easy to write. For example to swap image you have to change the link to the image, etc.

    thanks. Would it be possible to create a role that can only access the media gallery but not the posts and pages?
