I am wondering if you can edit order meta with this plugin. I have downloaded and installed it on a staging site, and explored its menus and options, but from what I’ve seen it’s not possible. Am I wrong? Is it somewhere hidden, and I simply haven’t discovered it? Other than that it appears to do what it promises. Unfortunately it’s not what I need it for in my case.

    Hi @skredlemon ,

    Greetings from WebToffee Support!

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your query. Currently, we don’t have a built-in option to edit the order meta within the plugin. However, if you could share your specific use case and the changes you would like to implement, we can explore the possibilities and see if it can be achieved through customization.

    Looking forward to your response!

    Hi @webtoffeesupport

Thank you for clarifying. I had to edit my child_theme > woocommerce > email > email-order-items.php to achieve the desired output. I needed to exclude specific meta keys/values from finding their way to the email recipients’ mailboxes. It appears to be working fine so far in my case.

I would have loved it if it was possible to edit that in a visual editor from within the admin panel like with your plugin, and it would have saved me a couple of days’ work time, but if that is not possible or easy to implement, I don’t believe you would need to address it in your plugin. For most use cases, your plugin works wonders!

    Best regards,
    Konstantinos.

    Hi @skredlemon ,

Thank you for the update, and we appreciate you sharing how you handled the customization by editing the email-order-items.php file. We understand how this could save time if integrated into the plugin’s admin interface, and we completely understand your wish for a more visual editor to make this process easier.

While we currently do not have a built-in option to edit order meta within the plugin, we can certainly look into the feasibility of adding this feature in a future release after conducting the necessary studies.

We appreciate your feedback and are glad that the plugin is working well for most of your use cases! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any further suggestions or questions.
