can you get rid of state information?

    So I asked in this form before and was told that I could set my shop country to the location to it is in. Is there a way to disable the state field from being filed? currently, when anyone opens the checkout they see the country field filled with the United States but also the state field with Alabama(first state in the list). how might I disable the state field from being filled?

    Hey, this is possible if you:

    – Set your store location to that State.
    – Set the default customer location to the store base address.
