    You can’t just paste a shortcode in unless it’s been created by the button in the editor, as that lets you set the configuration for the shortcode.

    Hi – there’s a Campaign Monitor button in the rich text editor toolbar that creates it for you.

    I dont think you understand what i am asking. I cant use the button so i just need the shordcode sample created by that button like [myshortcode key=”2673848″ api=”whatever”] . Am I clear now?

    As I said before – you can’t just paste a shortcode in unless it’s been created by the button in the editor – so you need to fix that issue so you can use the button.

    Once you’ve generated a shortcode – you can re-use it wherever you like.

    Is is realy hard to output a code here, I mean I cant fix the button i dont need that at all, All I need is a code sample. Can you create one on your demo editor and post here so I know what it looks like. I NEED TO ADD IT MANUALLY. Thanks

    Hi;

    The shortcode references a set of settings saved in your database when you use the button. You can’t “create one” without using the button to generate a set of settings in your database – I could give you a shortcode, but it wouldn’t work unless you’d used the button to create it on your site…
