can you help me find this piece of code ?

  • Hello so I have been editing a wordpress theme using firebug but there is something I just can’t seem to find in my style.css :
    The footer text. as you can see in this PICTURE I’ve found it on firebug but I just can’t seem to find it on the wordpress theme files.
    All I want to do is edit the : powered by …
    could you please help me ? thx in advance

  • It is likely to be in wp-content/themes/[THEME NAME]/footer.php

    However some themes will encode this, making it more difficult to locate.

    yes it was very hard to find it , and it was located into the php of a widget.
