Can you keep product info when changing themes?

  • Hi,

    I need to change themes on my site but I don’t want to lose all the product info with variables loaded on the site.

    The new theme will also be Woocommerce compatible.

    Does anyone know if the product info will be retained when I make the switch or do I need to manually enter it again?

  • im not an expert , but i beleve the data will remain on the product.

    Just to be sure ,, i suggest you backup your site with backupbuddy plugin(must have plugin for all your wordpress sites) and then do your theme-changing ??

    That way , you can just test whatever you like without having the worries ??
    And it only takes about few minutes to restore a backup.
