Can you rename “Tags” and “Categories” to something else?

  • I have a music blog and I want to rename ‘Category’ to ‘Genre’, and also ‘Tag’ to ‘DJ’

    How can I do this, does anyone know?

  • Typically if you are displaying your posts with the word Category and the word Tag, you will find that your theme’s index.php file has those words. So, you should be able to modify the Main Index Template via Design->Theme Editor (or edit the wp-content/themes/yourtheme/index.php file directly).
