• I’ve been looking at the benefits and disadvantages of requiring logins to comment on posts. One of the disadvantages is that it takes time, so I’m looking for ways to simplify the process. One changes was to use the Register Plus plugin to allow the user to set their password on the spot.

But what I’d like to do is include the registration stuff at the bottom of a post for the unregistered user. This would 1) make the registration easier to find, 2) save a valuable click, and 3) show just how easy the process is. Perhaps you could even have them comment simutaneously with registration, though the ability to moderate that would be great.

Is there an existent plugin that does something like this? If not, is someone willing to program? I’d be willing to pay out some money for this as I feel like it would encourage more registrations and help build a true community of registered users.

In case you were wondering, the web site is https://www.zamagazine.org

    Cheers!
    Brendan

AjaxLogin apparently is having issues with 2.5.1 and the developer disappeared. Is there anything similar?
