• I have more than a dozen clients on our own servers and really DO know how to install WP.

However, I have a new client on a BELL server (in Canada)and while I’ve followed the exact same procedure – and yes, I have all of the normal passwords etc etc…WP will not install.

Instead I get an error screen that says –
    —————————————————–
    Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?
    —————————————————————

Does anyone know – is there an issue with BELL servers for this? What might I have missed?

    Jim
