Canape Theme

  • Hi there, I have used Canape (in WP.com) before but never uploaded it and then downloaded it to my www.ads-software.com site.
    I download the zip file and upload it to my site’s themes, but when i press activate it says:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/spiritda/public_html/wp-content/themes/canape-wpcom/front-page.php on line 25

    I am assured by my hosting that this is not their issue, or a server issue.

    any solutions?
