cancel invoice

Hi there,
I have set that if i press proccesed order in woocommerce, that there needs to a invoice generated.
But lets say i make a mistake, and press processed by mistake, than it will not be correct anymore with the sequence of order numbers.
How can i fix that the best?
Can i somehow erase that ordernumber?
Or should i go in your settings and change: Next invoice number (without prefix/suffix etc.)Greetings.
