Cancel Reservations

Hi, my client said the reservation was not working. I tested it myself with and it does work.I cancel the reservation and it says ‘This reservation is out of date.’
Question #1: How do i cancel the reservation slots?
Question #2: Does this mean the reservation slot is open again?
