    Hi Franky,

I played around with EME and I am figuring out how to customize and adjust most of the features I want. Thank you again for the plugin!

I really need your help and input on an essential feature for me:

    – The option to cancel a reservation of initially a Free event by non-WP users. and later on also able to cancel paid events (via Paypal)

I would ideally like to set up a separate Cancelation page where through the automated RSVP e-mails and also the back end Send E-mail options I could redirect the attendees who have booked /reserved seats, to cancel them if not able to attend. But when I put the [eme_delete_booking_form] in a page it needs an id to work. If I try the id=#_EVENTID it is not adding the cancelation form to the page successfully. It just says: The bookings are not accepted anymore for this event or something like that) The plan was to have an automated adjusted cancelation form to each event and then add the url of that page to the above mentioned e-mails. If I put a specific id then it works but then the cancelation page is only working for that specific event and can’t be used in the automated RSVP EMAILS for any event. Any suggestions /solutions?

When I tried to solve this by adding to the RESPONDED EMAIL FORMAT and to the EMAILS SEND FROM BACK END the placeholders: #_CANCEL_LINK and/ or #_CANCEL_URL, they are not recognized, they do not work. Am I missing something here?

The way I came around it was to add the placeholder: #_REMOVEBOOKINGFORM at the end of a single Event format and then add the following:

” If for any reason you need to cancel your reservation please fill out the Cancelation Form located at the END of the page: #_EVENTPAGEURL. “

to the RESPONDED EMAIL FORMAT and to the EMAILS SEND FROM BACK END. It solved the issue but it doesn’t look very practical to have them go to the single event page again and scroll down through the reservation form again to find the cancelation form. I would like for the attendees to be able to go straight to a page were only the cancelation form of the event they registered, exists. Again; Any thoughts / solutions? It seems the #_CANCEL_LINK and/ or #_CANCEL_URL would be the solution but they are not recognized /working.

    AND
Lastly I discovered a bug /issue at the use of the:

Contact person cancelled email format in the settings.

When someone successfully cancels the reserved seats to an event and the above automated email response is sent, then when it arrives to the contact person the placeholders: #_RESERVEDSPACES and #_AVAILABLESPACES have not been correctly updated with this cancellation. They still show the previous numbers without taking into account the just successfully done cancellation.
On a funny note: the way I came temporally around it /temporally corrected it is by writing at the contact person cancelled e-mail format this:

Now there are #_RESERVEDSPACES space(s) added to the #_AVAILABLESPACES that were still available.

But obviously it needs a different correction. ??

Hope you can help with the above as soon as possible, especially with the first issue /question.

    Thank you in advance!

cancel a booking via the link is only possible for logged in users.
I will take a look at a method to create a unique random string per booking so you can create cancel links based on that. For now the cancelbooking form is the only method for non-wp users.
Concerning the bug: fixed in dev with this:

Thank you that would be awesome! ??

Any idea on when you might have it?

Do you think the [eme_delete_booking_form id=#_EVENTID] is the direction you will go?
So as to add that short code in a separate page and then add a link to that page to an e-mail to the attendees?

And also sorry for my limited knowledge of terms. What does it mean the bug was fixed in dev?
I still encounter the same issue with #_AVAILABLESPACES.
Do I need to do some action from my end? Some kind of update of a file?

Thank you again very much in advance!

“The bug is fixed in dev” means that in the sourcecode it is fixed and will be in the next version. I also added the link to the change done so you can do it already on your side if you don’t want to wait.
Concerning the booking cancellation feature: a donation for the animals is always appreciated ??

    Corrected it! Thanks!

Yes, was planing for sure to donate, If I end up using this plugin! ??

I might e-mail you soon to see if you can do that feature for me as well as an extra one: using already paypal generated buttons to the paypal feature of EME or generally able to have students pay for seminars spanning over several weeks (e.g.: 12 weekly course /one a week) either per weekly class or per month or the whole amount. And to figure out a just donation for those!

    Thanks again!
