    Hi,

    The plugin seemed to import only completed orders to MailChimp on the initial sync.

    Is there any way to get also previously failed orders to MailChimp (status as Cancelled or Failed in WooCommerce)? We have couple hundred contacts whose order has been failed previously and to whom we would like to be in touch.

    It would be good if some tag/status could be set to those, so it would be possible to differentiate the customers which have ordered before and whose order hasn’t been successful.

    Hi there, thanks for reaching out. At this time, the scenario you’re describing is outside the functionality of the plugin. We do not do this because we need to respect whether or not the user has explicitly opted in and with these types of orders we do not see that preference.

    Would it be possible for you to explain further, why would you consider successful purchases to be explicitly opted in, but not failed purchases?

    In both cases the user has accepted the terms and submitted the order. The payment process just has been failed => the order fails. Isn’t the Mailchimp’s abandonded cart function quite the same?

    Moreover, if the plugin has been installed already and the orderer has explicitly clicked that he wants to receive emails, but if the order fails, he still won’t be added as an subscriber.

    From my point of view, reaching out to the people whose order has been abandoned would be one of the most important features of this kind of plugin.

    Adding a filter to change this behaviour for the plugin users could be helpful for many.
