What is the full text of the error?

    Hi! full text is;

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home2/bsanima1/public_html/muaythaitalk/wp-content/themes/muaythaitalk/functions.php:10) in /home2/bsanima1/public_html/muaythaitalk/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1228

It looks like there’s an error or some other output coming out of your theme file. Did you just recently update WordPress, or did this just randomly start happening?

You have unexpected whitespace (either a space or an entire line) on line 10 of the /wp-content/themes/muaythaitalk/functions.php file. See this guide for more info.

Alternatively, replacing the file with one from a fresh download may resolve the issue.

Edit: @ancawonka beat me to it, she’s quick! ??

Hi ancawonka, thanks for your reply… yes, i recently updated wordpress!

James Huff, how do i replace “a file”? and what file?

I’ve read a ton and just getting more confused. I am new to this and need baby steps, i don’t understand a lot of these terms…

Thankyou any help will be MUCH appreciated !

im reading through the guide but i have one question…

what is my first step from here?

as soon as i start reading i have to look up every term which leads me to other terms, and just learning the language to understand the sentence consumes my time.

i just need a first step. and then i will try join the dots.

    thank you

So … I listed the wrong file initially, whoops. ??

First step is to access your server via FTP or SFTP. Next, you can either and edit line 10 of the /wp-content/themes/muaythaitalk/functions.php file with a plain text editor following the guide lined to earlier, or just replace it freshly downloaded copy of your theme (though this will of course undo any edits you may have made directly to the file).

How do i access server via FTP? do i need to download anything?

    i tried downloading filezilla…doesn’t seem like that’s what i’m meant to do…

    Moderator James Huff

    (@macmanx)

You will need to download an FTP client like Filezilla, but you’ll have to find the FTP instructions in your hosting provider’s support documentation or account panel to finish setting it up.
