Cannot access Adminimize settings

    I installed Adminimize through the Add New Plugin interface and activated it. On the Plugins page, when I click on “Settings” under “Adminimize”, I am directed to this URL [https://mysite.org/wp/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=adminimize/adminimize.php] and am shown the error “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

    I can get to the settings when I select Settings from the left menu bar, then “Adminimize”.
