Hello, I’ve successfully installed the plugin and changed the URL. But after logout, I can’t login with the new URL as it says it doesn’t exist. Old /wp-admin it doesn’t exist either.

How can I get access now? Or can I change the URL via FTP?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

Thank you for your message and for using my
    Plugin.

The plugin has more than 3000 active installs and I never came across of similar issue. The best thing here to do is to delete the plugin folder or either by ftp/sftp/ssh or file manager.

    Regards,
    Nuno

    Hi Nuno

I am having this exact same problem.
I have installed the plugin and created a new URL for login.
When I go to the new URL and put in my credentials, it then takes me to the old /wp-admin/ URL and has the following message; You must log in to access the admin area.
I have tried doing the above suggestion – go in via FTP and delete the plugin but it is still not working.

    HI @corelabsau

The plugin “https://en-gb.www.ads-software.com/plugins/maintenance/” that you are using has already a front end login that’s why you are getting redirected and unable to login to WordPress backend.

    Nuno

well same issue here, removed the folder from backed via ssh, also via phpmyadmin i disabled the active plugins, still im not able to login, seems this plugin did something else, i think you need to warn people about what changes this plugin will do before they install it, im out of ideas now as to how ill ever be able to get back into my backend ??

    Hi @sosodamn

The plugin after you disabled it will remove the redirect and restore the original login URL – the plugin has 20.000 plus active installations and there are 3 cases like yours that end up to be always something else on your WordPress setup.

Please disable all plugins and try again.

Could you please stop posting the same question and different topics – or either you open a new topic or you write in only one topic.

    I hope that helps “man”

@sosodamn, If you need support then per the forum guidelines please start your own topic.

A lot more people will see your post, and that way you stand a good chance of getting the assistance you want. Despite any similarity in symptoms, your issue is likely to be completely different because of possible differences in physical servers, accounts, hosts, plugins, theme, configurations, etc. Thus one problem, on one setup is not indicative of the functionality and reliability of an application as a whole: https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum-user-guide/faq/#i-have-the-same-problem-can-i-just-reply-to-someone-elses-post-with-me-too

You can do so here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/change-wp-admin-login/#new-post

I’ll be archiving your post and mine to not spam the original poster and detract from their question.
