I’ve been fiddling around with installing new templates and went from being able to view/edit my site to this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/content/71/8859271/html/wp-content/themes/krakatau/functions.php on line 20

Now I cannot access ANY part of my site. A WP.org search shows conflicting info from saying my site has been hacked to other suggestions about editing lines.

I’m lost. I’ve changed my password, just in case, but still cannot access my site. I’m trying to avoid having to reinstall but will if that’s my only choice.

My blog is: kendratoo.com , but, of course, it’s inaccessible because of this error.

  • Using an FTP tools such as FileZilla or your host provided file manager, delete the theme folder you added. Login.

You are so wonderful! That fixed it immediately. If I still owned my cookie company, I’d send you a “thank you” batch. ??
