    Hi,

First of all, we are really stoked with the possibilities your plugin seems to have. We have created a Stripe account to allow for split payments. We have been trying to get this up and running for testing purposes based on your quick start document, but as soon as we activate this plugin there is a fatal error to the website.

Fatal error: Uncaught (Status 400) (Request req_rj5YhTVLDsCxwp) You cannot access the connected accounts of your platform’s connected accounts. thrown in?/home/customer/www/FAKEURLFORNOW.nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bsd-woo-stripe-connect-split-pay/includes/vendor/stripe/stripe-php/lib/Exception/ApiErrorException.php?on line?38

Would there be any way for you to help us understand what is going on or how we can solve this fatal error? We are really looking forward to working with your plugin but can not find any information about this error online.

With the split plugin removed the website works fine, we have set up with woocommerce 7.6.0 + the required WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway 7.3.0

    Hi @gauchoplugins ,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us and providing the update.

We just removed the 2 Stripe plugins from your documentation and did a fresh install of both. Cleared the cache before continued testing but after admin login we still have the same fatal error.

Fatal error: Uncaught (Status 400) (Request req_TRvPPYjVrQMlGv) You cannot access the connected accounts of your platform’s connected accounts. thrown in?/home/customer/www/siteURL.nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bsd-woo-stripe-connect-split-pay/includes/vendor/stripe/stripe-php/lib/Exception/ApiErrorException.php?on line?38

Maybe helpfull for you to know: We have our stripe account linked with the first plugin (it shows 3 green checks), the webhook is enabled and we also have a “connected account” available in our stripe-profile. Only after activating the split play plugin the fatal error pops up. Could you please let us know what information could be helpful for you?

    Hi @cdsigns

Our developer believes there is some kind of limitation on your Stripe account API keys. Are you using Restricted API keys?

    https://stripe.com/docs/keys#limit-access

If they are, you need to allow connected account permissions.

Additionally, ensure you are using a Standard Stripe Connect account, as Express or Custom accounts may not work.

You can create TEST accounts easily by going to your Stripe Dashboard > Connect > and Create in the top right corner.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi @gauchoplugins ,

With the test mode enabled we have been able to get the plugin working, thank you so much.

We have made several test payments and can see the payouts on the platform test account. But the “connected” test account still has a balance of 0.00.

Looking at your guide we should also see the percentage we set up there, because the Stripe ID is the same on the settings page for Split Payments. Do you have any help for us there?

Another question: with the paid version of your plugin, would we be able to have split percentages with a decimal?

Hi @cdsigns glad to see you got it working.

The “balance” will probably not update on the connected account. The transfer amount should show up in the transfers section.

As long as the transfers tab shows the transfer amount, then it should be good to go to get Paid out and should appear in the Payouts section.

Stripe has since updated their UI after we’ve made that documentation, so it may appear slightly differently. We will eventually get to updating the docs based on their new UI. This is a case where Stripe’s innovation changes so rapidly it’s hard to keep up.

We are not allowed to discuss the paid version on this forum for the free plugin, so I would request that you please email us at [email protected], with a link referencing this ticket, and we can then answer you there.
