cannot access dashboard

  • have not been able to access my dashboard for quite some time – forgot what version of wp.org I’m using, pretty sure it’s at least a 4.1.

    1) used the usual directions: https://www.the-awakeningintl.com/wp-admin/

    it does not work; no log in page appeared

    2) tried a different way to bring up login, name & pass. but it would not accept my password. I reset, still would not accept.

    Can you tell me what is going on. Is my computer software blocking?

    Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
