    Hey guys,

We’re having issues with WP Job Manager in combination with the Applications add-on. When an employer logs in to their account on our website (https://collegelife.co/nl/), they can access their “account” on WooCommerce via https://collegelife.co/nl/account/. However, when they try navigating to the dashboard, where all of their positions and applicants should be listed, the page asks them to log in again. When pressing the log in button, the website simply refreshes and nothing happens.

We moved the website from the standalone mode to a WP multisite with sub-directory mode. It was moved to a different database (as a primary site). Then the website was cloned to a sub-site (https://collegelife.co/nl/). All links, etc were properly changed and the website is working perfectly.

The problem is with the Job Manager dashboard. It is used in combination with Job Manager Applications and Job Manager Woo paid listings (and Woocommerce, of course).

When a registered employer visits the dashboard (https://collegelife.co/nl/dashboard), he/she encounters a ‘SIGN IN’ button (see image attached). When the button is clicked, he/she is redirected to WP login page and then immediately back to the same dashboard screen.

The employer doesn’t see the jobs dashboard – he/she only see the “SIGN IN” button instead of it.

This problem only occurs with employers, who’s accounts were imported from standalone website.

Employers with newly created accounts don’t encounter this problem. The admin account also does not encounter this problem.

All users (both imported and newly created) have the same user permissions – they are set to ‘Employer’.

    Any ideas?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

Did you try save the settings in edit user page for the imported users?
Just press “Save changes” and try with this account go to the dashboard.

    Grettings.

    Hi!

Thank you for the tip – yes, we tried to save settings, change the permissions and save changes.

    Unfortunately, this didn’t work.

Are there any other ideas you’d recommend trying out?

    Thank you,
    Kristian

    Hi,

You’ve already contacted us by email about this (since you use the Applications add-on). As such, I’ll mark this as resolved here.
