• Hello,

I’ve been using this plugin to prevent global attacks on my site (and it’s working great!). I just recently realized though that I am unable to login to my multisite subsite /wp-admin/ dashboard after having logged into the main site. When I log into the main site, I can get to the /wp-admin/ dashboard just fine. When I go to a subsite’s /wp-admin/ dashboard, I get redirected to my profile page in the subsite (and still logged in). Only if I logout of the main site and go directly to the subsite’s /wp-admin/ dashboard, am I able to re-login and acceses the subsite /wp-admin/ dashboard.

I am running the latest version of WordPress (4.9.4) using subdirectory network multisite. I’m also using the latest version of this plugin (3.0.8). I’ve tried network enabling the plugin as well as enabling it separately from each multisite and I experience the same issue. I’m not sure if it’s a setting I’ve overlooked, but I’ve been through them extensively and cannot get this to work. Once I completely disable this plugin, my multisite network admin from the main site and subsites works just fine as they always used to.

Any help or guidance is appreciated!

    Hi @bdotmall,

Sorry for your issue, but I could not reproduce it on my local server for both sub-directory and sub-domain type of multisite.

    Multisite

So would you once logout and clear cookies and cache in your browser?

    Thanks your cooperation.

Thank you for the quick reply; my apologies for not responding sooner.

When I first enabled the plugin (using Network Activate), I was able to access my subsite /wp-admin/, but after I logged out and cleared my cookies and cache, the problem came back.

I am able to login to the main site’s /wp-admin/ Dashboard, but I get redirected to my profile page (still logged in) when I try to then access the subsite’s /wp-admin/ Dashboard.

If I then completely logout and then log back into the subsite’s /wp-admin/ Dashboard directly and then try to switch over to the main site’s /wp-admin/ Dashboard, I get redirected to the main site’s login page and it says that I am currently not logged in at all.

Do you have the plugin “network activated”, or set to active in each of the subsites?

Are there any special settings in the plugin settings that I could be overlooking?

    Thank you

    Hi @bdotmall,

but I get redirected to my profile page (still logged in) when I try to then access the subsite’s /wp-admin/ Dashboard.

It’s very strange for me because IPGB have nothing to do with profile page, e.g. /wp-admin/profile.php or /wp-admin/network/profile.php. I think it would never redirect unless profile.php was specified.

Do you have the plugin “network activated”, or set to active in each of the subsites?

Both case works fine on my environment.

I think something may be incompatible with IPGB. Could you deactivate all plugins and activate again one by one? If you can’t do that, I’d appreciate to let me know about the plugins you are using. Please use “Show information” button at “Debug information” in “Plugin settings” section.

You can send it to me by email to tokkonopapa at yahoo dot com.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation!
