Cannot access my blog's dashboard

  • Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_json_encode() in /home/margal40/wellgroundedhopes.com/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 668

    This is the error code that I get when trying to access my dashboard. I am not technical at all, please assume I know nothing when you give me tips on how to fix this. I need every step explicitly explained. I’ve read other similar forum threads and this post at https://www.webhostinghero.com/disable-wordpress-plugins-when-site-crashes/

    I understand the first step is to disable the plug-ins but in my complete lack of technical knowledge, I do not know how to do this.

    Do you have FTP access to your site? If so, just go to the site, and find the wp-content folder. Then rename the Plugins folder to something else. This will disable your plugins.
