Can’t help unless you say exactly what doesn’t work. Your password is rejected? Do you get errors? A blank page? What?

provide your site url, are you able to access admin? If yes than try to install a new theme, try to deactivate your plug-in first if you are using any and see that works for you.

My site URL is https://www.bridgetmarch.com but I cannot access admin by that route.

WordPress doesn’t recognise mmy email address any more so I can’t log in to get at my web site by that route. I have had to re-register in order just to use this forum.

I am bemused but I do wonder if I am missing something really obvious and simple.

do you have FTP access? If yes try to use your FTP, and take the database backup first via your cPanel login and than try to re-install your WordPress. and once you done restore your database.

or check on your server it’s yourdomain.com/wp-admin or it’s renamed.

or check wp-admin directory is there or it’s renamed.

@ riddhishshah; there is absolutely no reason to reinstall WP or check to see if her directories have been renamed via FTP. You’re making things too complex.

@bridget: go to https://www.bridgetmarch.com/wp-login.php? Use the WP login and password you got when you installed WP. Your login and password for your own site are completely different than your login and password for these forums.

@songdogtech you are right but in his above post he mention that he cannot access admin, if he can access admin https://www.bridgetmarch.com/wp-login.php? there is no reason to re-install WordPress.
