Cannot access Network after installation

HI,
I’ve just installed the plugin and get an error when trying to access the MU network:“Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_current_user() in ***/wp-includes/capabilities.php on line 1281”
Can only access network again once plugin is disabled.
