    Hi,

I am trying to view a snipped I made in the past. But everytime I am trying to access any I’m getting a message that I am not allowed to access the page.
I am working as an administrator on the website and all my permissions are turned on.
It worked yesterday and didn’t update WordPress nor Code Snippets since then.

Any ideas what could cause the problem?

    Best regards,
    Olga

    Hi Olga,

Do you receive this error when trying to view any snippet, or only when trying to view one specific snippet?

    Hi @bungeshea

It happens with all snippets (the active and inactive ones)
It only doesn’t happen when I want to add a new one…

Glad to hear you managed to get it fixed!

If it’s possible, I’d be interested in hearing exactly what the problem was, as I’ve of this sort of problem cropping up before.

    Hi @bungeshea

Sure, I had multiple user roles assigned to me which probably caused the problem.
I followed the steps in the following link to set it back to only administrator(step 4):
    https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/sorry-you-are-not-allowed-to-access-this-page-error-in-wordpress/#4-make-sure-youre-an-administrator

So I looked for my user_ID, then went to the wp_usermeta table and searched for my user_ID and changed the wp_capabilties line to this:

    a:1:{s:13:”administrator”;s:1:”1″;}

That’s all I did and helped for me ??
