I am using WordPress since July and everything went very well sofar.

I recently discovered when I am trying to change the lateral or footer widgets using the “customize” menu: Appearance -> Customize -> widgets -> Lateral Column (in Inspiro Lite), that I have no information displayed except “add a block” or “options”. If I look at the widget menu page (still in customize menu), there is a sentence at the top saying “Your theme has one other widget zone but this particular page is not displaying it” (this is a translation of the french sentence displayed on my screen)… If now, I click on the blue pen to change the existing lateral column widget directly, I have the menu to change the parameters of the widget but not the content of the widget…

Now, if I am trying to add a new block into the “customize” menu: Appearance -> Customize -> widgets -> Lateral Column… I have exactly the same result as explained in the previous paragraph: I only have access to the block parameters but not the content…

I tried also to go to Appearance -> widgets but I have just a blank page (?)…

Last, all the widgets I have on my website are just working as expected but I cannot change them anymore (except their parameters as mentioned)…

Anyone knows how to fix this issue ? Thank you…

I checked that all my add-ons are at the latest version (automatic updates) and they are…

I enabled debugging mode in wp-config.php and reexecuted the appearance -> widgets php … Still have a blank screen, no error message on the screen and the debug file is not created… Help !

I finally decided after some research on google to follow the recommendation to deactivate some extensions… and bingo ! The extension “All in one SEO” was causing the white screen issue… Solved !

    Hey @browetd,

AIOSEO dev here. We’re aware of this issue and are tracking it in this support thread.

I’m going to work on a fix today and then provide a beta build to anyone who needs it in the thread.
