Here is the scenario, I am having a wordpress site installed on another PC and I access it via LAN. Unfortunately, the site stopped working because of some virus. I have a copy of the database using wp-db-backup plug-in. I want to install a copy into my own machine now. I imported the database using phpmyadmin and it is successful.

When I go to localhost, it just shows a blank page. I typed localhost/wp-admin, but it would go to the ip address of the machine where I first installed the wordpress site. I think I did not typed the ip address on the general settings.

Is it possible to install the same kind of wordpress site into different machines? I would like to restore the contents.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I found a solution. I go to the wp-options in phpmyadmin and noticed that the home and siteurl are set to the ip address. I changed it to localhost. The next thing to do is to change the template and stylesheet to default. So I edit it and changed the value to twentyeleven. It works!
