Cannot activate per product

  • I have installed and activated the plugin. I can edit the custom messages it should display, “%s in stock”, etc.

    However, when I go to product, I DO see a tab “custom stock status”, but I can not select the custom status in the “inventory” dropdown.
    What is wrong?

    WooCommerce 3.6.5
    WooCustomStock 1.1.2
