    Hello,

    I install starter sites and whenever I click “Activate” it starts an endless loading that turns into an error.

  • Is it ok to add a comment here? I don’t visit frequently….but I have the same issue today….it worked fine yesterday.

    Same problem here.

    I activate the debug and I found a lot of lines like this:

    BLOCK: Added page 554670 in queue.

    Same here. For reference I tried installing version 2.0 just to test, and the same thing happens there. Also tried WP 5.1.2, no go there either….

    Also the issue is that it blocks my whole
    Wordpress backoffice. Can’t seem to solve this.

    The download link on this page worked. The one downloaded from my WP dashboard must be corrupted. I was able to download a template full website no problem with this plugin on this page. https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/astra-sites/

    Cool…yes…only took me 4 hours to figure that out….learning in the trenches.

    Can I ask you, out of curiosity, how could I have solved this (remove the plugin) if I wasn’t able to access the backoffice?

    I was unable to access the WP dashboard as well. The plugin somehow caused this problem. I had to log in to my hosting account (I use InMotion Hosting) and use the Softaculous script installer to remove the WP installation…then delete the add on domain and start from scratch. Once I added the add on domain back I reinstalled WP using Softaculous and then was able to get into my website once again. This time I did not search for the Starter Templates plug in…instead I downloaded the file from the www.ads-software.com site then uploaded it into WprdPress and installed it. There were no issues with this process. Keep in mind that I am not a hi level tech. I am sure there is a better fix but that is all I knew how to do. I am happy to see it is fixed and the plug in is still something we can all use because I think it is the best thing ever. Hope that helps.

    @halv1 thanks! i did exactly the same thing. uninstalled wordpress and reinstalled it. but in this case i had nothing developed on my site. i wonder what would’ve happened if i had a whole site developed lol..
