Cannot add calendar view to main menu

Hi,

As the title suggests, I’m having issues adding my calendar page to my main menu. I’m using the lakeside theme. I’ve followed the instructions here https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/adding-a-calendar-link-to-your-site-menu/, I have enabled calendar in screen options and added the Events page to the main menu, it shows as “post type archive” which I believe is correct. I would like the Events link to appear as a child of the News menu item. Screenshot on the link below
