• I am using this plugin to add breadcrumbs and article markup to a website.

I also add my own custom code from time to time, especially on the home page itself (such as Organization).

If the plugin is enabled, and I add a custom JSON-LD script to the home page header, the code appears on the page, but Google does not pick it up in the structured data testing tool.

If the plugin is deactivated, my custom code will be picked up by the tool and validated.

I tried adding to the header, footer, page body, and the tool cannot pick it up even though it is there.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Hi @theriz,

This plugin works on wp_head as a hook point.
Does not the schema.org appear in the source code?

    Thank you.

If I enable Breadcrumbs using the plugin, it seems to block the custom schema I add to my site.

I added a custom JSON-LD snippet for Organization which appears on the home page in the source code. If breadcrumbs are DISABLED, the Google SDTT will confirm the placement of the organization code on home page.

If I ENABLE breadcrumbs, the tool no longer can see the home page Organization code, and instead it is seemingly “replaced” by breadcrumb schema, even though the Organization markup is still on the page.
