Cannot add Featured Image

    I’m using WPExplorer’s Office Theme v1.9, but this error happens when I switch Twenty Ten also, so it’s not theme related.

    Every time I try to add a Featured image on any page or post, and click on the Add Featured Image link, the pop-up window appears like normal. But it comes up blank! There’s no way for me to add any featured image on the site this way.

    I did’t try on earlier WP versions since I just installed the latest and installed the theme and tried it like so, but I’ve read that version 3.4.1 has some issues regarding this.

    Any thoughts?

    Yep, I know. But as I said, this also happens with Twenty Ten and Twenty Eleven Themes.

    I’ve also read other people with other themes having this issue so maybe someone has a suggestion.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    I re-uploaded once more all files and it worked.

    Seems my auto-update which installed version 3.4.1 came corrupted or something.
