  • There are 2 filesnames in the error – one is the file that started the output, one is the file that tried to do something and couldn’t be cause the output had already started.
    Make sure you’ve checked the file that is starting the output (hint, it is probably one you edited like wp-config, not wp-login).

    LisaJill,
    You would have had to edit wp-config.php at some time to tell WP how to connect to your database.

    LisaJill,
    To clarify my statement…if you are doing a brand-new install, you have to edit the wp-config.php file.

    @nuclearmoose.
    This is what it says in the readme:
    Point your browser to wp-admin/install-config.php. This willcreate a configuration file for your installation. You’ll need to know your database name, username, password, and host name.
    Is it lying?

    No. It is not lying. my wp-config.php file has all of the proper information _as if handedited_ only I did it via install-config.php.
    The install said it worked, wp-config is properly populated, the problem appears to be in wp-login.php…
    any further ideas would be appreciated, thank you. =)

    Upgrade to a nightly or the upcoming 1.0.1.
