• Hello,
I have administrator rights but when following the steps to add a new user, it only allows me to Add existing user.
I need to add a new user. What can I do?
    Thanks!

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install and activate “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/
It will add some additional feature under create a new menu position Tools > Site Health.
On its troubleshooting tab, you can Enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will disable all plugins, switch to a standard WordPress theme (if available), allow you to turn your plugins on and off and switch between themes, without affecting normal visitors to your site. This allows you to test for various compatibility issues.
There’s a more detailed description about how to use the Health Check plugin and its Troubleshooting Mode at https://make.www.ads-software.com/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/

    Hi t-p,
Thank you for the prompt response.
I do not see the Plugins in my side menu bar, although I am an admin. Is there another for me to install the plugin? – sorry if that is somewhat basic. I am new to this platform, I tried searching before asking, but with no success.
    Thank you

    Hi there,
So it is solved now. I finally found out that the setup was as multi-site and you need to be a Super Admin to add new users who are not already on the network (of your sites).
    Thanks t-p for the help.
